The study on the effect of nano-DAP on cabbage was conducted at the Experimental Farm, A.A.U., Jorhat, India, using 13 different treatments. The highest yield (348.60 q/ha) and benefit-cost ratio (3.64) were observed with the recommended NPK dose. Among the nano-DAP treatments, the combination of 100% N & K with seedling root dip and foliar spray recorded a high yield (317.38 q/ha) along with maximum phosphorus uptake. Nano-DAP applications significantly enhanced plant growth, yield, and nutrient uptake while reducing reliance on conventional fertilizers. These findings highlight nano-DAP as a cost-effective and eco-friendly option for sustainable cabbage cultivation.

Suchibrata Chamuah holds a B.Sc. (Horticulture) from Sikkim University and an M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture from AAU, Jorhat. She received the Budding Scientist Award (2019 & 2020) and the Best M.Sc. Thesis Award at an international conference in 2023. She also qualified the ASRB NET in Vegetable Science, She is pursuing PhD.
