Effect of Nano Hydroxyapatite, Chitosan and Collagen Composite Coating

Improving properties of nano hydroxyapatite by mixing it with chitosan and composite of chitosan and collagen, the composite coating composed of nano-hydroxyapatite, chitosan, and collagen on commercially pure titanium show the best result mechanically and histologically when tested at a 2healing period (2 and 6 weeks), all these attempts of altering the surface properties of titanium by coating or by topographical modifications is to improve osseointegration and minimize the healing period.
