The whole story of the book is based on the term "strategic." Strategy is a significant element of planning and forecasting the future. It is difficult to survive institutions, manage scarce resources, meet the changing expectations of ordinary people, and survive the vastly changing dynamics of today's world without a strategy. Thus, the book aimed to enlighten how strategy effects institutional performance in Somalia's public institutions; more specifically, the study focused on the productive sector institution's strategy. The study found that the mentioned institutions in Somalia are facing a number of challenges, including an inadequate budget, technical incapacity, corruption, mismanagement, and a lack of conception on how realistic strategies can improve institutional performance, even though 85% of productive institutions acknowledged that they have written strategies. read on for more inside.
