Effective implementation of regional development programs

The book describes the theoretic and methodological basis of preparation and implementation of regional socio-economic development programs and aspects of state regulation of regional development. Systematic analysis of elaboration and implementing regional development programs is researched, and the current situation in Azerbaijan's national (regional) economy is evaluated. Directions of improvement of regional development by implementation of the state segment-strategic programs are learned in comparison with the world experience. The opportunities of implementing local programs in administrative districts as part of complex regional development are analyzed. A new model of regional-economic development program using an example of the Gabala administrative district is proposed and its expected effectiveness is assessed. The book is designed for independent research into the effective preparation and implementation of regional development programs, analysts in state regional regulation and program management.
