This text "Effects of Consolidation Policy in Nigerian Banking Institutions on Agribusiness Sector Performance" was inspired by the fact that the Agricultural sector occupies a vital position in the economic development of both developed and less developed nations. Agribusiness sector significantly provides food and fiber, foreign exchange, raw materials for industries and income for individuals and organizations. Agribusiness finance and investment is an area in Agribusiness and Management discipline. Over the years, agribusiness sector, that is, business of agriculture has not been given adequate attention in terms of committing huge amount of capital in the sector by private and public sectors.Rather, oil and gas was regarded as the mainstay of Nigerian economy while agriculture was given little attention in terms of finance and investment. This book is an exploratory text that offers insight on the meaning,issues,problems and applications of agribusiness finance and investment in Organizational, individual and developmental context. The focus is on how private and public sectors should invest heavily in the development of agriculture in the country.
