Effects of Hydrogen Peroxide and Citric Acid on Zirconia Surface

Conditioning of the zirconia intaglio surface with Hydrogen peroxide or Citric acid solution to create a surface micro-irregularities and providing an improvement in cement/ zirconia adhesion may be a new trial to increase their bonding strength but at the same time such treatment provides changes in the mechanical properties (flexural strength and microhardness) as well as an alteration in topographical and chemical structure for zirconia crown.
