Egyptian and Greco-Roman Urban Heritage in Minya - Egypt

The urban heritage areas in Minya vary between: areas where urbanization continued in the era of the Old Kingdom and the Greco-Roman era, such as Kum al-Ahmar in Sharona, Tahana al-Jabal in Minya, and Khashm al-Wadi in Samalut, areas in which urbanization continued in the era of the state. The modern and Greco-Roman era, such as the Antar stable in Abu Qurqas, and areas where construction continued in the Greco-Roman and Coptic era, such as Touna al-Jabal in Mallawi, and construction continued in the Egyptian, Greco-Roman, and Coptic eras, such as the Jabal al-Tair area in Samalut and Al-Ashmounin in Mallawi. This book deals with the manifestations of cultural communication on the territory of the Minya region in light of the study of cultural sites in which urban manifestations continued in different eras, the transmission of these manifestations through the Egyptian, Greek-Roman, and the impact of cultural communication in consolidating the features of architectural planning and architectural styles throughout the ages.The study covers the urban heritage of Minya Governorate and includes: Egyptian, Greco-Roman urban heritage.
