EL PLACER PUTUMAYO: Victims of Sexual Violence

This work is the product of fieldwork carried out with women victims of sexual violence by the United Self-Defence Forces of Colombia, who during the incursion and presence of this armed group in the Inspectorate of El Placer, jurisdiction of the Municipality of Valle del Guamuez, Department of Putumayo, Colombia, South America, perpetrated acts of terror and violence, including sexual violence against the women who lived in the Inspectorate, perpetrated acts of terror and violence, including sexual violence against the women who lived in the Inspectorate, leaving psychological sequels and effects that the victims, thanks to social organisations, have been overcoming to a certain extent, but whose right to reparation has not been comprehensively guaranteed by the State, as described in the body of this work.
