With advanced technologies and scale economies, electronic equipment has rapidly expanding, which in turn will increase the quantity of e-waste generated, therefore it has become imperative to study the e-waste management practices that are being adopted. E-waste management tasks are not implemented fully because of the multiple challenges faced in countries of the world. However, associated with importing of secondhand market from developed countries, the problem is severe in developing countries than advanced countries. This book has emphasized on the generation level and status of e-waste, awareness on e-waste, electronic waste management practices, establishing network with concerned actors and recommend ways for better management. Thus, it will help educational institutions of any level, governmental and non-governmental organizations, business and industrial institutions to properly manage electronic equipment and waste, through formulation of policies and legislations, adopting management techniques and launching multi-stakeholders to minimize the adverse impacts e-waste pose on both human and environment.

Abenezer Wakuma Kitila is Lecturer at Haramaya University, Ethiopia. He has got Master of Art in Urban and Regional Development Planning from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia in the year 2012. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the University of South Africa. More over, he has published different articles on reputable Journals.
