Elements of research methodology

This manual provides master and doctoral students with the basic methodological elements they will need to prepare their theses and dissertations. Starting with a brief definition of scientific and non-scientific knowledge, passing through the types of scientific documents, the importance of the problematic, the role of the supervisor, the delimitation of the theme, the characteristics of the corpus, arriving at the techniques of bibliographic writing, the manual gradually puts the student on the track of scientific research. In addition, the ISO standards are visited and explained through examples allowing the student researcher to cite sources and write references in accordance with recognized international standards.

O Dr. Mohand Ou Yahia Kherroub é actualmente professor na Universidade de Tizi-Ouzou (Argélia). Trabalha também como tradutor-intérprete para os tribunais.
