EMISSIONS IN SI AND CI ENGINES AND ALTERNATIVE FUELS

This book will focus in detail on emissions from motor vehicles, which are one of the important factors that cause air pollution. For this purpose, first the general characteristics of the fuel and air that come together to produce emissions will be mentioned, and then their combustion, which is the main cause of emissions, will be discussed. In the following parts of the book, the following topics will be discussed in detail, respectively.- Emission measurement methods,- International exhaust emission standards,- Formation of emissions, their effects on the environment and humans, - The effects of engine operating parameters and engine structural features on emissions,- Emission reducing systems in gasoline and diesel vehicles, - Alternative fuels and their effects on emissions.

Posteriormente, cursó un máster en la Universidad Técnica de Gebze, en Ingeniería de Sistemas Energéticos.
