Emma Pérez: Master of Tradition

Life histories are study and research techniques that are responsible for collecting, disseminating and constructing the knowledge of their own experiences during all the stages of their lives, developing the various experiences in time and space. The purpose of this research is to contribute to the study of cultural manifestations, cultural identity and the cultural contributions of the popular memory of Venezuelans through the use of the methodology of life stories, which will be in charge of removing the memory that the actor has elaborated from his life experience and documentary research that can reinforce the memory. The research was based on a mixed methodology that combined qualitative research techniques, necessary to study the subject in particular, with documentary techniques for all historical research.
