Emotive Utterances in English: Lexical, Semantic and Syntactic Aspects

This book can be taken as model for the way of studying the emotive utterances in English language, and the meaning of these emotive utterances in the language use. It studies these emotive utterances in relation to Semantic aspect, syntactic aspect and also lexical one. It shows the different hidden meanings of Emotive utterances by listing them and explain each type in detail with examples to illustrate the ideas to the readers.

Aws Al-Shajlawi is an asst. instructor in English language and linguistics. He got his M.A. degree from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in Ukraine 2012. He worked in different fields related to English as tutor, instructor and translator. Now he works at Al-Imaam Al-Adham University College in Iraq-Baghdad.
