Employee Counselling and HRD Practices

This book focuses on how to carryout employee counselling at workplace and how to choose & implement appropriate Human Resource Development practices in the organization for getting better results from the workforce in line with that counselling. Accordingly, the author has designed the present book in three units:-Unit I Employee Counselling;-Unit II Human Resource Development Practices: A Review of Relevant Literature;-Unit III HRD Practices: Conceptual and Theoretical Foundation. This book will help readers and managers to understand the concept of employee counselling in general and development of Counselling Skill for managers; Managers as Counsellors and dealing with important issues in managerial counselling in particular. In business we use all non-living resources except human resources; hence human resources being living resources, are considered as the soul of an organization. In order to maintain the soul of an organization & to keep the organization alive and able to respond to the external changes in the environment and global market, a due care of the employees is becoming a significant necessity nowadays.
