Employee Empowerment and Organisational Effectiveness

The book is an outcome of an extensive research project conducted in the Indian context for the purpose of suggesting the organisations to implement various employee empowerment measures by fostering a favourable empowerment climate to enhance organisational effectiveness. The project was mainly undertaken to study the perspectives and psychodynamics between employee empowerment and organisational effectiveness in selected central public sector enterprises in India. As an emerging area of management research, the findings of the study would provide an impetus for further theorization and conceptualization. The students and researchers in Management particularly Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Development, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and above all Social Work would be benefited from this book. Le Dr Simanchala Das (né en 1971) est titulaire d'un double doctorat en sciences sociales et en gestion de l'Université de Berhampur, en Inde. Il a une expérience de 17 ans dans l'enseignement supérieur et de 3 ans dans la recherche. Il travaille actuellement comme professeur associé au département de gestion de KLEF, Andhra Pradesh, Inde, et s'occupe d'enseignement, de recherche et de conseil.
