Employees' Perception on Human Resources Management
Details
Although in other countries studies had been undertaken (as stated in the literature review) to study the perception of the non-HR employees regarding the HR practices of the respective organization that they currently work for in Sri Lanka there's no literature to be found regarding a study that had been undertaken to study the perception of non-HR employees in the FMCG sector regarding the HR practices of the respective organizations. Currently, the Sri Lankan FMCG sector represents 20% of overall employment in Sri Lanka which is 1/5 of the overall employment in Sri Lanka (DailyFT,2017). Thus; it's mandatory to know those employees' perception regarding the respective organizations' human resources practices since poor HRM practices cause consequences like high turnover, employees not giving their best, losses encountering due to hiring of the wrong person, wasting time with useless interviews and the legal responsibility.
