Empowering Media in Teaching ESL by Creative and Critical Thinking is a book written purely to reach personal development in teaching style as to get along with digital era. It is a kind of Classroom Action Research which was carried out collectively by the researcher, school management, students and stake holders. They were hand-in-hand in establishing Digital Citizenship Classroom (DCC) in which active, creative and critical process of Teaching-Learning was carried out. Every student involved in DCC activities got the challenge to always make it lively and bright with their innovative and creative activities as the response of the teacher's assignment. Besides, the teacher herself, in this case the researcher, had to always think of creative and critical ways of finding challenging assignments that pursue the students to have creative and critical thinking habits. The researcher hopes that in the near future her colleagues are willing to continue this research in finding other new ways of empowering media in teaching so as to trigger students in improving their awareness on the use of sophisticated information and technology in this digital era.

Tri Indaryati war 35 Jahre lang als Englischlehrerin tätig, bevor sie 2016 in den Ruhestand ging. Sie hat einen Master-Abschluss in angewandter Linguistik mit Schwerpunkt Übersetzung. Sie hat einige Englisch-Lehrbücher für die Oberstufe geschrieben. Sie nahm an einigen professionellen Seminaren und Werkstätten sowohl auf nationaler als auch auf internationaler Ebene teil.
