Autorentext

Dr. Syed Ahson Ali Shah (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan, Pakistan, in 2015. He has received the M.S. Leading to Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering at the Applied Bioelectronics Laboratory, Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Hyoungsuk Yoo. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Applied Bioelectronics Lab, Hanyang University from September 2022 to March 2023.

Since April 2023, he has been working as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Mobile Power Electronics Lab and Power Systems Lab, Gwangju Institude of Science and Technology. To date, he has published several journal articles and conference papers. His research interests include free-space antennas for wireless communications, implantable antennas and systems, implant safety, wireless power transfer system, sensorintegrated biotelemetric stents, reconfigurable antenna, metamaterial-based antenna systems, and 5G antennas development.

Dr. Ahson has received IETE MN SAHA Memorial Award and Gold Medal for best Application-Oriented Paper, in 2018. He has also received Bronze Paper Award at IEEE Student Paper Contest, Seoul, in 2019, in 2021, and in 2022. He has also won 3rd Best Student Paper Award in 2021 Competition arranged by the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science (KIEES). His PhD Thesis has been recognized as one of the excellent dissertations and received the Best PhD Thesis Award in overall university and the only in Electronic Engineering Department. He has been a Registered Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan, since 2016. He is also serving as a Reviewer for IEEE Transactions in Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Access, International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, and SN Applied Sciences.
