ABOUT THE BOOK The book entitled "Empowerment of women through self help group" has been designed keeping in view to know the specific objectives of the study were to study the profile, knowledge possessed, benefits availed, overall empowerment of the women members of the SHGs, relationship of profile with the empowerment and to know constraints faced by the women members of SHGs. ABOUT THE AUTHOR R. G. Nair, at present she is pursuing to the Ph.D degree programme,Department of Extension Education in Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani. She has published 5 research papers in National and International journals. R. P. Kadam, presently working as a Assistant Professor, Department of Extension Education, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth,Parbhani. (M.S.) INDIA. Basically an Agricultural Graduate (1997).He did M.Sc.(Agri.) in Extension Education at University of Agricultural Science,Dharwad.He received Ph.D. (2003) in Extension Education from M.A.U, parbhani. He qualified National Eligibility Test two times (Ext.Edu.)in 1999 and 2001.He published 92 research papers in leading journals.

J'ai travaillé comme professeur assistant dans un institut privé affilié à M.P.K.V., Rahuri, pendant 14 mois. J'ai publié cinq articles de recherche dans des revues nationales et internationales.
