Energy and Environment

This book was written to help students to understand the present energy crisis facing many developing nations around the globe. Also, the needs to explore other untapped natural resources to minimize our present energy predicament have been fully elucidated in this book. Basic energy resources: its management and conversion; renewable and non-renewable energy resources were discussed in relation to world consumption. Furthermore, the human impacts on natural environment and sustainable development in global economic have been addressed. I feel confident that this book will fulfill its aims and objectives. I particularly recommend it to all students undergoing courses related to energy and environment.

Dr. Akinnubi Rufus Temidayo is a lecturer in Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Wesley University of Science and Technology and University of Medical Science, Ondo, Ondo state. He has authored/co-authored more than 30 scientific publications and has attended conferences both local and national levels.
