Energy Aware Routing Protocols for WSN

This book provides the general architecture and structure of sensor node along with the fundamental operations of wireless sensor network. It also emphasizes on technical requirements and research issues during design and implementation of wireless sensor network. This enlightens the surveys on recent protocols used in wireless sensor network. Based on the category of the protocols it provides the brief information of several network layer protocols used to implement wireless sensor network. Due to the Deployment of Sensor network in very hostile areas or remote terrains replacement or recharge of energy source like battery is very difficult. Hence energy has to be used efficiently to enhance the network life time. Therefore here it presents two recent research works on energy efficient routing protocol for wireless sensor networks. All concepts are presented in technologically complete and easily understandable approach.
