Energy Efficient Routing Techniques

In this book, IEEE 802.11a/g OFDM standards are considered for implementation. Distributed Bellman Ford Algorithm is considered as a basic routing technique. Energy efficient Modified Bellman Ford Algorithm is proposed. The performance of Grid and Random topologies for static and mobile network with varying network traffic is compared. Further, network using Grid topology is considered for Cooperative Modified Bellman Ford Algorithm implementation, which improves the network performance further using cooperative relays. The present work is very useful in the modern wireless networks for low power consumption application. In this book an attempt has been made to explore energy efficient routing techniques using a cooperative relay which provides an insight to develop new advanced techniques for future MANETs.

Dr. B. Rama Devi completed her Ph.D from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad,India in April 2016. She published more than 30 papers in various journals and conferences, and filed one patent. Her research interest is in the areas of Wireless Communication, Wireless networks, Medical Body Area Networks, Smart grid, VANETs & VLSI Low Power Design.
