This work aims to contribute to the formulation of a model for analysis and evaluation of social and environmental aspects with specificity to the energy sector. To this end, it is based on the assumption that awareness, as an object of behavioral change of the end user, may be the main path to be followed, a fact that is justified in the understanding of the present scenario of scarcity of natural resources in which our country goes through, thus revealing the relevance of this work. Using inductive and deductive exploratory research, the field of action was the city of Itaipulândia/PR, where quantitative and qualitative data were collected. The result points to a "common sense" knowledge about the environmental issues that surround the community and, in view of this knowledge, it is proposed, in this work, a set of indicators based on the PIER methodology of evaluation.
