Engineering Laboratories Design, Construction, and Renovation

In this context, a successful laboratory facility is defined as one that provides effective and flexible laboratories, is safe for laboratory workers, is compatible with the surrounding environment, has the support of the neighboring community and government agencies, and can be constructed in a cost-effective manner. This guide covers many basic aspects of design, renovation, and construction projects in general as well as specific laboratory-oriented issues.

Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abdel-Bary Ebrahim has been awarded his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering in 1986, 1992 and 1998, respectively. In 1996, he has been awarded the Eduard Dolezal award. He is working as a full Prof. at Civil Engineering department, Assiut Univ., Egypt and Currently at King Abdulaziz Univ., Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
