English Language Studies: Voices from Novice Researchers

The main aim of the book is to give an impulse for teachers to rethink and reflect on their current and future pedagogical choices and their teaching practices. The latter are always amenable to change if the purpose is to enhance the quality of both teaching and learning. In fact, ignorance about the specificities of the EFL classroom may turn off that delicate trip switch in students which keeps them thirsty and eager for a lifelong learning. The authors' works are the culmination of their intellectual peregrination to reach pedagogical and academic wizardry. The book which comprises nine papers, both theoretical and research-based, addresses the challenges of EFL education from different perspectives. Interestingly, in some papers, literature fuses with didactics, showing how they can enter into a partnership. It is worthy of mention that some papers are selected from the second and third editions of academic writing and creative writing competition in 2016 and 2017(CWAWC).
