English Parts of Speech

This book offers detailed accounts of the English parts of speech that any learner should realize when studying the essentials of the English Grammar. However, the book consists of eight units and each unit presents an explanation of every grammatical class category from morphological and syntactic aspects. The core of the book is to focus on forms, types, syntactic structures, functions, classifications and positions of each English category.

Professor Ayad Hammad Ali, teacher of English Linguistics at the Dept. of English, Faculty of Arts, Anbar University located in Anbar Province in Iraq. He is specialized in Pragmatics. He taught several subjects of linguistics at the College of Education for Humanities, Faculty of Arts, Open Educational College, & AL-Ma'aref University College.
