Growth of Tourism SMEs has not been impressive in Kenya.This sad state of affair is aggravated further by the failure of SMEs to sustain themselves beyond their third anniversary.To shed more light on challenge, a study on which this book is based,was conducted to asses effectiveness of strategies used by native Kenyan Tour operators in their business.The main basic finding was that entrepreneurial strategies currently in use have short comings which need to be addressed by current and prospective entrepreneurs in lucrative field of tourism. The text is intended for National Tourism Organizations of developing countries, students of tourism and entrepreneurship and NGOs advocating for pro poor tourism in developing countries.
