At present we are facing so many problems related to nature and environment,only because we have so many books and knowledge for higher studies on environment. but on the root level we have limited.so this book is basically a attempt to provide some basic, short and quick information and facts about the nature and environment for all, without the limitation of age, class and levels. This book contains 14 chapters of different environmental issues. It is the hope that this book will help to students and people from every walk of life to understand the basic concept of environment and nature, and to ensure the sustainability of life support system on this planet earth.

Harish Nautiyal pursuing Ph.D (Env. Sc.). He has done M.Phil, M.Sc. in Env. Sci, B.Sc in Forestry and Wildlife Management(Garh. University), PGDCA from Hiltron,& B.Ed, M.Ed from CCS University.At present he is working as a Lecturer in SMJN(P.G.)College Hardwar Uttarakhand. He has published a book "Introduction To Environment"from same publication.
