It is a compilation of various national and international bibliographic sources that seeks to contribute to the educational heritage within the framework of effective environmental management and sustainable development. This text offers the reader a useful tool that will allow him to critically understand the different scenarios that ecosystems face today, and also provides the necessary inputs to run objectively: audits, monitoring and periodic reviews to those who manage, use and/or exploit natural resources on a large scale in a specific area, based on regulations, requirements and mandatory technical standards established in national legislation.
