The picture of: Food security situation, malnutrition and Agriculture in Kenya are well captured. This research was conducted qualitatively deploying capacity enhancement theory. Further the book explains how small holder farmers grow healthy nutritious food, adding value to their farm produce and hence increasing their income. The agricultural practices and activities Small Holder Farmers are carrying to improve food security such as: deep soil preparation, composting, intensive and companion planting, use of open pollinated seeds and mixed farming are explained. In conclusion the book creates an intermingling of the theory and the practice of Bio-Intensive Agriculture as a summary of the practices and activities of Bio Intensive Agriculture.The book is a good read for many purposes.
