Environmental Data System: implementation and management

The scope of this book is to show the design, the development and the implementation of the Environmental Data System (EDS) for the SHARE Geonetwork WebPlatform (SGN), in the framework of SHARE and NextData projects. The EDS is designed to store data from two sources: high altitude automatic stations, non-polar ice cores and marine sediment cores. SGN has the daunting objective to become a Data Assembly Center dedicated to the collation, archival and sharing of environmental data and products.

Filippo Locci nasceu em Cagliari em 1973, é um físico e meteorologista. Trabalha na Agência de Protecção Ambiental na Sardenha (ARPAS) desde 2004, trata de modelação de ruído para avaliação do ruído ambiental, gestão e elaboração de dados ambientais.
