Industrial revolutions are times of rapid change achieved through innovation. The Fifth Industrial Revolution will see much more advanced collaborative interactions between humans, machines, processes, and systems for maximum performance optimization. Although we might not be exactly sure how the Fifth Industrial Revolution will change our planet, we should be fully prepared to accept that it is unavoidable. Environmental problems are caused by conflicting interests regarding natural assets and the preservation of the environment (EMS). Apart from those problems, social movements also view environmental conflicts as a crisis of democracy and participation and a cultural and ethical crisis because of uneven power relations and conflicting systems of values and norms. While we are rushing towards the future quickly and without stopping, there is a debate in the scientific community about Sustainable development and business forums. Sustainable development is an organizing principle for meeting human development goals while sustaining the ability of natural systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services on which the economy and society depend.
