Environmental Policy and the Property Market

This book discusses the concept of environmental policy in the context of the property market. It presents debates between the environment, property market interfaces and urban impacts. The real estate market's relationship with natural space points to central issues that should be reflected on from the point of view of the socio-environmental problem on the threshold of public policies and the urbanisation process associated with the universe of international capital. The property market is a variable used to assess urban and environmental impacts in the context of urban interventions. The dynamics of the real estate sector reach the tourist market, consolidating itself as the key to the success of the commodification of environmental spaces and the progress of urban expansion on the south coast of the RMR, as well as characterising neoliberal pragmatism and the production of policies of inequality and social segregation in large cities.
