Environmental Pollution in Urban Ecosystems in the Brazilian Amazon

Most cities in the Brazilian Legal Amazon have not yet managed to evolve in the municipal management of solid urban waste, the practice of dumps is still high, compromising the environment and public health. The lack of public resources, the reduced urban development index and the non-compliance with the Environmental Legislation contribute to this scenario without harmony with the environmental quality of the cities. Facing these problems in technical and political aspects has become urgent.
