Epidemiological Profile of Colorectal Cancers in the Region of Setif

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a major cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide. In Algeria, it represents the second most common cancer for both sexes. The incidence of this cancer is constantly increasing, as evidenced by the evolution of this incidence in the wilaya of Setif by its population cancer registry which is among the oldest registries. Several risk factors are involved in the different stages of colorectal carcinogenesis.
