Epidemiological profile of periodontal diseases in diabetic subjects

Like all chronic pathologies for the most part incurable type 1 diabetes is a disease that is not pronounced in Central Africa at a high rate . It was a question for me to demonstrate that there is a relationship between periodontal disease and the maintenance of blood sugar balance.During our study the prevalence of periodontal disease in subjects was 77% . This was due to poor dental hygiene caused by poor brushing technique and timing.
