EPITHELIA

Histology refers to the study of normal tissues. As a discipline of study within the medical field, histology is structured into general histology and special histology.The material presented here aims to outline information and images of optical microscopy, regarding normal tissues. Taking into account the what has previously been presented by the authors, the study of the structural and ultrastructural aspect of normal tissues represents not only a medical discipline but also an area of interest in research, especially if the data are corroborated with those of pathological morphology. This is the idea of applying information in medical practice in diagnostic purpose.
