ESL Activities for the Classroom: Summer Programs

This book contains ESL activities with ideas for handouts, surveys and organizers, as well as other topics useful for short stay programs teaching young speakers of other languages. It includes activities that will supply you with most of your summer classroom curriculum. The activities relate well to TESOL standards in teaching ESL/EFL to young students of English language, as well as adult levels. The activities are also highly useful in ESL classrooms for introductory activities, practice, and extensions of learning.

Natalie Johnson is a teacher of English Language Learners in Washington State and in the State of Minnesota. She has a Master of Arts in ELL PreK-12, and a Cambridge University, UK, CELTA. She also has a Master of Science in Education in Reading in Washington State and in Minnesota. Ms. Johnson is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in teaching English at the secondary level.
