Essential oils as denture cleansers and antifungal agents

This book is a study of the comparative property of commercially available denture cleansers which are peroxide based and essential oils against their efficacy as an anti fungal agent and potency against candida albicans. Hence it explores a possibility to use essential oils as denture cleaners. The chemical denture cleanses are known for their efficiency but they definitely do have a lot of adverse effects on denture as well as the mucosa of the denture wearer. It also gives the possibility to explore the therapeutic effect as well as a long term alternative to chemically manufactured denture cleaners.
