Essentials of Mathematics for Engineers and Scientists

Computation has always been a nightmare to most scholars, hence the main reason for the publication of this book. Essential of Mathematics does not only give a complete insight to analytical solutions of different problems but allays fear/anxiety from students. It is precise, chronological, and very easy to comprehend. After the analytical solutions of most questions, there is always a fast approach in order to limit the period of solving examination questions. The text book is not only for engineering students but a generic textbook that covers both elementary and advance topics in computation. This is because most scholars tend to forget some basic principles (I once met a third year undergraduate student who forgot differentiation while learning Laplace transformation). Therefore, this book can be renamed "Consultative Book". The first few chapters are on fundamentals for any pre-university examination (e.g. WAEC, A-level, GCSE, JAMB etc.) while the latter chapters are basically for Engineers and Scientists. Engr. Obinna Elochukwu Okonor was born in Nigeria. He graduated from University of Nigeria, and started his lecturing there. Afterwards, he got a scholarship by UNN/TU to do masters in Computer Engineering in TU Delft, Netherlands. He is currently doing his PhD in Electronic Department, University of Surrey, sponsored by PTDF.
