Klappentext
Go beyond testing manuals to develop professional expertise in conducting tailored, user-friendly, and functionally meaningful memory assessments Essentials of WRAML3 and EMS Assessment provides important insights into memory and memory testing, alongside substantive guidance in administering and interpreting these two tests. It covers updates to the third version of WRAML, which includes a Performance Validity measure, greater emphasis on delayed recall and working memory, more nuanced scoring, and an additional abbreviated format. This book also covers the EMS, a complementary assessment tool that gathers subjective estimates of an adult's performance in everyday memory tasks. Together, the two assessments covered in this book provide a comprehensive look at memory, enabling practitioners to generate practical, meaningful, and person-centered recommendations. As with all volumes in the popular Essentials of Psychological Assessment Series, this book contains visual cues that highlight key points, along with step-by-step guidelines that make this an immediately useful resource. Theory and research are woven into the material, but always with an eye toward practical application. Beginning and seasoned practitioners, as well as those supervising students, will find value in this comprehensive guide to assessing memory in children and adults.
