Estimating and Mapping Carbon Stock

Carbon sequestration is the process of removing excess carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and depositing it in a reservoir. It is a way to mitigate the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere released by the burning of fossil fuel and other anthropogenic activities. Forests and soils are potential sinks for elevated CO2 emissions and are being considered in the list of acceptable offsets.

I had BA Degree in Geography and Environmental study from University of Gonder and Msc Degree in Geoinformation Science from Addis Ababa University.I had experience in Ethiopian Mapping Agency and Information Network Security Agency in different geospatial positions.
