Ethnomedicinal Plants Used by Traditional Healers in Buldana District

It is ample clear that the people of Buldana district are medicinally knowledgeable. Fairly, rich heritage of knowledge of medicinal plants of the local people is revealed by this investigation. The obvious forces of acculturation and biotic interference warrant conservation of their knowledge. However, studies on scientific lines such as chemistry of species used, their biological activities, clinical trials, etc. are the need of hour. Such further studies will help develop new drugs in future.
