EWA MAZIERSKA is Professor of Contemporary Cinema at the University of Central Lancashire, UK. She has published over ten monographs and edited collections, including Nabokov's Cinematic Afterlife (2011), Jerzy Skolimowski: The Cinema of a Nonconformist (2010) and, with Laura Rascaroli, Crossing New Europe: The European Road Movie (2006). She is Associate Editor of Studies in Eastern European Cinema .
