European Union's Connectivity Agenda
Details
The book unpacks the European Union's (EU) connectivity agenda, in the context of global environmental governance, with a particular focus on development partnerships, i. As the world struggles to realise the sustainable development goals (SDGs), mobilizing appropriate resources towards the vulnerable is crucial. Institutionalising collaborative and cooperative frameworks of financial sustainability becomes pivotal. The book makes a case for Brussels to collaborate with the global South towards facilitating innovative solutions for the global good. Trilateral development cooperation between India and EU, under the India-EU Connectivity Strategy is important. Here, the imperative to build North-South cooperation is to bridge the divide between the two and move beyond a two-bloc world, thus underlining multilateralism.
