Chapter three: crime prevention, standard reactive policing, the traditional policing, visible policing, problem-oriented Chapter four: community intelligence, criminal intelligence, and intelligence process, community intelligence, criminal intelligence, intelligence process, use of informants, surveillance and interception of communication in the intelligence process and crime threat analysis. Chapter five: international perspectives on different policing models; CompStat in the USA, British policing model. Chapter six: intelligence-led policing in selected countries; Australia, United States of America, United Kingdom Canada and New Zealand, the National intelligence model. Chapter seven: other related tactical or philosophical policing concepts, broken window policing, predictive policing, evidence-based policing, harm-focused policing. Chapter eight: conclusions and way forward/recommendation.

Dr.Ezeji Chiji Longinus obtained his bachelor's degree in Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of South Africa. He earned his master's degree from Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa, graduating with Distinction (Cum Laude) and Doctor of Policing. He is senior Research Fellow at University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
