Evaluation of a Precision Planter on Direct Seeding of Onion

Onion establishment processes are concerning matters for traditional onion growers, because of its high cost mainly at the early stages. It requires close nursing and supervision from land preparation until it reaches its final stages. Therefore, the study aimed at using a mechanized approach, with emphasis on direct seeding on raised beds using a raised bed shaping machine and a vegetable precision planter and compares this with the traditional methods.

Mortada Younis nasceu em Agosto de 1980, cidade de Gadarif, Sudão. Obteve o B.sc (Honra) em Ciências Agrárias em 2006 e o M.sc em 2014, na Faculdade de Engenharia Agrícola da Universidade de Gezira, Sudão. Trabalhou como engenheiro agrónomo no Ministério da Agricultura, Gadarif stat de Gadarif de 2007 a 2016.
