The book, Assessment of Accreditation Practices as the process of maintaining standard assesses the experience of Ethiopian Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Accreditation system and identified major problems associated to it. Some of them are lack of quantitatively and qualitatively adequate professionals to discharge their responsibilities ; other is accreditation system has more focus on quantity of tools and personnel than quality, and the like. It also provides recommendations to the identified problems by referring to the experiences of other countries which have well established Technical and Vocational Education and Training system. In this regard, this book briefly examined the issue in the study areas in particular and the country at large. Therefore, the book is vital to provide valuable information for practitioners and experts on Accreditation Practices.
Autorentext
Nigist Melaku has got her BSC Degree in Buss. Educ. from AAU in 2000,& MA Degree in Managing Voca.Educ. from the same University in 2007. Since 2009 up to 2011, she is a Lecturer and Vice/ Dean in N/Silk Poly Technic College. Currently, she is in G/Winget Poly Technic College on the same position. Her research interest is on Vocational Education.
