Evaluation of Bar Manço Children's Playground to Safety Criteria

Playgrounds are so effective for the children's social, sensual, cognitive and physical development. These grounds, if they wouldn't designed in significant criterias, they can cause hurtings and injuries that affects child's development negatively. The book presents tips leading to landscape architects and other designer disciplines for evaluating the appropriateness of children's playgrounds in terms of standards. The book consists of four chapters. The evaluations were made according to TSE and USCPSC standards via Çankiri City Baris Manco Children's Playground. Besides, it was examined that other outfit equipments, plants on the area and playground's maintenance status in terms of safety. In accordance with the results that are obtained, suggestions have been made in terms of landscape architecture.
