Fiber Reinforced composites (FRP's) are used extensively in various industries such as Automobiles, aerospace defence. FRP can be used in domestic applications like door panels, room partitions, wall cladding, food packaging, home appliances and electrical housings. Fiber Reinforced Composites are replacing various metallic structures because of superior properties such as high strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance and high fatigue life. Glass fiber Reinforced Polymers (GFRPs) are the polymers made of a plastic matrix and reinforced by fine fibres of glass.
